We collect information that you directly provide during registration, login, order creation, or when communicating with us. This includes:
• Personal data: First and last name, email address, phone number, and identity document details (when required).
• Business data: Company name, identification number, legal address, and bank details for COD transfers.
• Operational data: Order history, delivery addresses, recipient names and phone numbers, COD amounts, and courier location during delivery.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device operating system, session duration, page view statistics, and cookies.
In some cases, we may receive information from third-party services, such as delivery reports from SMSOffice.ge.
Collected data is used exclusively for lawful purposes:
• Service delivery: Account creation and management, order processing, courier assignment, and status updates.
• Payments: Recording Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions and handling financial settlements between merchants and couriers.
• Communication: Sending SMS notifications for order status changes and email notifications for important updates and account changes.
• Improvement: Analysing anonymised statistics to improve platform performance, speed, and user experience.
• Legal obligations: Fulfilling requirements under Georgian legislation, including tax and financial reporting.
ShipNet.ge does not sell, rent, or distribute your personal data for commercial purposes. Data is shared only in the following circumstances:
• SMSOffice.ge: Only the recipient's phone number and message text are transmitted for sending SMS notifications. SMSOffice.ge is bound by a confidentiality agreement.
• Banking partners: Minimum necessary banking information for processing COD transfers, under strict security protocols.
• Within the platform: Merchants see only their own orders; couriers see only their assigned deliveries. Administrators have full access solely for operational purposes.
• Legal requirement: In response to a lawful request from government authorities, in accordance with Georgian legislation.
Any sharing is limited to the minimum necessary — only the data required for a specific purpose.
We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legally defined retention periods:
• Account data: Until account deletion + 12 months (due to legal obligations).
• Order history: 5 years — in accordance with accounting and legal requirements.
• COD transactions: 7 years — as required by tax legislation.
• SMS logs: 6 months — for operational control.
• Technical logs (IP, sessions): 90 days — for security and troubleshooting purposes.
After the retention period expires, data is permanently deleted or anonymised.
We apply a comprehensive set of technical and organisational security measures to protect user data:
• Transmission security: All communications are encrypted with TLS 1.2/1.3 (HTTPS). HTTP connections are automatically redirected to HTTPS.
• Database: Passwords are stored using bcrypt (cost factor 12+). Sensitive fields are encrypted with AES-256.
• Access control: Role-based access system — admin, company, merchant, courier. Each user sees only their own data.
• Backups: Daily automated backups stored in encrypted form on a separate server. Restore testing is performed monthly.
• Monitoring: Automated detection of unusual login attempts, mass requests, and other suspicious activity.
Despite all measures, 100% security on the internet cannot be guaranteed. In the event of a data breach, affected users will be notified within 72 hours.

• Analytical cookies: Page view statistics, error logs — anonymised data, stored for 90 days.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking systems (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.). All analytics are processed on our own servers.
